Q Guild Butchers nationwide now have an opportunity to go for glory in the 2016 Great Yorkshire Pork Pie, Sausage, Black Pudding & Beef Burger Competition, one of the UK`s longest established, biggest and most prestigious regional meat trades product evaluation events.

This year`s 28th annual Confederation of Yorkshire Butchers Councils` highlight returns to the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford, on Sunday, October 30, and is supported by a Trade Fair.

Yorkshire Q Butchers have done well over the years, winning multiple leading honours in the contest, which was thrown open for the first time in 2015 to all UK independent retail butchers and farm shops and remains so this year.

The deadline for postal entries is Saturday, October 22. Entry forms, which can be downloaded and printed at www.greatyorkscomp.co.uk, should be completed and returned to the NFMFT.

There is also a facility for those who cannot attend in person to submit product entries by post. Here again, visit the website for more details.

Sheffield pork butcher Konrad Kempka will host the President`s Dinner Dance at the Cedar Court Hotel, on Saturday, October 29. Dinner Dance and Hotel Booking Forms are also posted on the website and can be downloaded, printed, completed and returned as instructed.
